"An Evening Under The Dome"

A Celebration of Hoosier Craft and Culture

Come share in an unforgettable literary-dining-musical evening under the magnificently restored Dome at West Baden Springs Hotel with five extraordinary Hoosiers. Includes a “moveable feast” of Hoosier-themed culinary delights from Chef Dan Orr in collaboration with Sterling’s Restaurant, along with samples of Indiana craft beer and wine, plus Hoosier classics played by Tom Roznowski and Monika Herzig.

• Scott Russell Sanders reads from A Conservationist Manifesto
• Nancy Hiller reads and presents from The Hoosier Cabinet in Kitchen History.
• Rachel Berenson Perry reads from T.C. Steele and The Society of Western Artists 1896-1914.
• Chef Dan Orr reads and presents recipes from FARM Food–Green Living with Chef Dan Orr
• Indiana’s Poet Laureate, Norbert Krapf reads from Bloodroot.

All books are published by Indiana University Press

Tom Roznowski and Monika Herzig will perform selected songs from some of Indiana’s classic songwriters including Hoagy Carmichael and Cole Porter.

The evening will comprise a series of readings, musical interludes, and visual presentations punctuated by brief statements from key sponsors. Dining will be on a "munch-and-mingle" basis throughout the evening. Indiana handcrafted beers and select Hoosier wines will be available for sampling. (The cash bar will be open).
